    The best argument I have against Ripple is: Imagine if another company, not named Ripple, was started in 2020 and announced their intention to monetize by selling a new currency/asset to retail with no restriction, disclosure, or securities exemptions.

    They would be hit with an SEC action so fast.

    Ripple cannot decentralise. It’s thoroughly centralized by definition. Consensus collapses to a single node run by Ripple Labs. There’s no utopian world where it decentralizes. It’s also a pointless token that no one uses. There’s no good outcome here.
