Wasn't NEO just shot in the knee by the Chinese government? Why would you want to own an ETH clone facing regulatory destruction?

A *Byzantine* *fault* *tolerant* consensus system's whole purpose is to be designed to handle ANY error or malicious behavior from a subset of the nodes and still reach consensus. In NEO, their system couldn't handle the most simple error of one node.

NEO's "Ethereum but China" pitch reminds me of Litecoin's "Bitcoin but Scrypt" pitch in 2013. A long, dark winter followed.
